Ready for the real Tron 2.0?

Slashdot picked up on news that the hinted-at and stealth-cam-censored sequel to Tron is picking up speed.  The film, now called Tron Legacy, hopes to make the most of the leaps made in 3D animation since the original.  The screen shots look purty enough and remain loyal enough to the original concept without being chained to it (alas, poor Watchmen).

Just for nostalgia’s sake, pick up the Tron collector’s edition on DVD and marvel at how un-hi-tech the filming was (computer glitches were just incorporated into the film) as well as Jeff Bridges pure geekiness.
