Google’s Treasure Map mode

Completely accidentally I discovered Google’s new map beta project, Treasure Map. This adds another layer to the Map feature of Google, providing not only a regular street map view and satellite view but also an olde-tymie “treasure map” view. It was a pretty fun surprise. It’s not overly detailed, and I think it would be even more fun to make the font even more stylized and add a few extraneous “e”s to further the effect.

And the street view is even tweaked as you can see below, to make it looked like you’re looking through a pirate’s telescope. I didn’t realize the world was sepia-toned back then though.
